Dave serves as consulting CFO for Ravix Group. He has over 30 years of financial consulting and executive leadership experience working with both private and publicly traded companies. He has served in financial executive positions in a range of industries including venture and middle market debt investing, software, internet, semiconductor and hardware.

During his career, Dave has been responsible for a broad range of financial and accounting operations including accounting system implementation, financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting, SEC reporting, contract negotiations, cash management, equity and debt financing, and investor relations. He has also played a key role in raising equity financing in the public market and venture capital funding, arranging lines of credit with financial institutions and lease financing.

Prior to joining Ravix group, Dave was the Chief Financial Officer at White Oak Global Advisors, a $2.0 billion debt fund lending to middle market companies. Other industry experience includes:

  • Chief Financial Officer at Hercules Technology Growth Capital, a publicly traded venture capital lender
  • Chief Financial Officer at Scion Photonics, a photonic device manufacturer
  • Chief Financial Officer at APT Technologies, a peripheral device designer
  • Corporate Controller positions at Rainmaker, Centillium Communications and Inter-Trust Technologies

Dave is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and worked with Ernst & Young as Senior Manager focused on early stage technology companies. He received a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Jose State University and a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University, Chico.

Dave has been an avid sportsman with a passion for running including the thrill of running the Boston Marathon with his daughter in 2011. He also enjoys playing golf, snow skiing as well as hiking in Santa Cruz with friends and his giant schnauzer.
